EconCore USES dupont polymer to make honeycomb panels
EconCore, a composite panel manufacturing group, recently reached an agreement with DuPont Performance Materials to use the latter's engineering thermoplastics and composites. EconCore's Belgian headquarters said it would use a range of dupont polymers in the composite board to meet customer needs. In addition, nylon resin polyamide and sarin resin have been used to create high-temperature honeycomb core material, which can make it strong and elastic. The honeycomb core is used with Vizilon thermoplastic composites. The cellular EconCore says that for different tectonic factors, the honeycomb core will achieve the maximum stiffness with the lowest weight, reaching a size that has never been realized before. Technology project leader Fabrice Giaume says we are considering making honeycomb panels with different materials, using EconCore continuous processing to combine special high-temperature thermoplastic adhesives, such as dupont's Elvamide. EconCore and dupont make honeycomb panels for industries such as transportation and construction.
